Family Photographs

Photography not only provides immediate gratification while you’re with your family, but the satisfaction lasts for years because you have a visual memory to share with your family and friends. In addition, you have your choice of the most current photos of your family, including your spouse and children, to place around your house and office.
Instant gratification of photography at family gatherings comes from either engaging yourself with family members while shooting photographs or having a socially acceptable reason for “going solo” for taking photos. It’s your choice. Either way, the idiosyncrasies of family members won’t affect you because you can choose your level of involvement.
Recently I purchased a CD-ROM digital camera so I can take lots and many digital photos on one small CD and retain only the desirable images for printing or electronic transfer later. Using CD-ROM technology has worked great for me because I can “click away” (up to 180 photos at 1,600 x 1,200 dpi per $1.50 CD). I usually keep around 10 percent to share with family and friends.
I’ve also been able to constantly print updated photos of my son and wife in a variety of interesting poses and places, replacing multi-year old photos that no longer bear current resemblance to reality.
Now, it’s up to you…
Mike
