New Delhi -- Private detectives are playing a part in the arranged marriages in India. Since arranged marriages in India are being replaced by marriages with love and emotion, and sometimes with Internet introductions, new wedding sleuths come into play.
Bao Vang, producer and anchor of WSAW News Channel 7 Sunrise program, recently wed her fiance of a year. Both Bao Vang and Noah were born in the United States and are a traditional couple. Honoring their families, Noah and Bao Vang chose a traditional Hmong wedding with heritage spanning generations.
In the Hmong wedding tradition, the families must approve of the marriage along with a dowry. If this does happen, and there are no guarantees, then the marriage cannot take place.

For society in general, sexual health issues come into play with marriage.

Traditional marriage is being examined by states of Maine, Washington, New York, and California. President Barack Obama has also weighed in on the subject.

According to Frederick News Post, "the tradition of a honeymoon after marriage can be traced to a Scandinavian custom where the man had to capture his bride-to-be for a month, or one full cycle of the moon, and then drank mead with her to celebrate their new marriage." During this month of seclusion, mead (honey) beer was supposed to guarantee fertility in the marriage.
