we had a few special occasions all very close to christmas in dec 2009 so I decided that for christmas gifts to each other & my 50th birthday present we were going to go make memories to have forever & not add more knick knacks to our shelves & what a better gift to each other was a easyily planned & actually very cheap mini vacation for 5 days & 4 nites to Panama city beach florida we booked in the day after christmas dec 26th my bday is 27th and just searched condos for rent& came up with about 25 places so i contacted them & found a fully furnished gorgeous 1 bdroon beach view front with a wonderful patio facing the beach ( we got our own few groceries to cook some seafood meals in the full kitchen to save money Too) they were having stay 3 nites get 4th nite free which cost us only $58.00 per nite being off season & after xmas ,so that added a free nite to our stay which we used our "saved dollars" to go Parasailing together which the check in desk had coupons for also $110.00 for 2 adults for the 1 hr boat ride & parasail adventure which was so awesome for my "Big 50th B.Day" ...gave me a sense of total freedom that extended into my life even after that breathtaking sail in the air above the emerald coast of florida! so if you want to bring some quality time into your relationship & do something together that is on your bucket lists in your lifes & remember that it dont take much money to do things or go places just plan ahead alittle bit and go enjoy all the blessed moments we are given in our short lifes! i am so happy we now made this our christmas tradtion as far as presents to each other now its our "us gift" after we spend xmas with the grown children & grandkids we are now having amazing adventures to talk about and remember fondly !
